About The Game
Sometimes, the thin line between a dream and reality can be drawn with a ray of light. You play as an elf puppet and its shadow (at the same time), and you're helping them to escape a life they never chose!
"I have lived my entire life on a dusty shelf. My only friend was my shadow, created by my maker's, old lamps' light. I tried to get used to it, like any other toy, but everyday feels like an eternity and I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE. Today, I'll end this. but not alone. My shadow will help me..." - The Elf Puppet

Just wanna say great game, I loved the music and the art and the whole concept. Well done on the platforming too. I played for few minutes and was confused by the function of the lights at first. Then I found the shadows that get cast. The sound of the glimmer says it should cast a shadow, but for me it didn't.
so I had to find another way to beat the game without using shadow platforms. The way I did it was by jumping at the edge of each platform and repeatedly pressing the jump button to get the turbo jump. That's how I got to the end with both characters. Great work.
Edit: the shadows work well, I was just lazy to solve the puzzles.
hahaha you did it without the shadows ? That's AMAZING :P
You should have captured a video to share with us !!
Either way, thank you for your comments! We're glad you liked and enjoyed the game! :D
Great feel. Everything works together really well aesthetically with the art and the sound. And cool concept!
This is really, really good! The art, music, and SFX are all excellent. The core gameplay is very good too, though it took me a minute to realize the "glimmer" sound meant a shadow was being cast.
If I had one critique, it's that I wish jump and interact weren't the same button. I kept accidentally throwing lights instead of jumping. But overall, phenomenal job!!
Sound Designer here: I'm still working on that "glimmer" sound and if it was the right representation of what's happening in the game.. I'll try some things in the next couple of days, hopefully we'll find something that works!
About the space button, I think you are right, we might be able to change that in a future update!
Thank you for your constructive feedback, and for your comments : ).
